Sachin Tendulkar and Dulquer Salmaan at the E-Prix Formula Race in India

The colorful sight of world-famous races, racing at supersonic speed in net zero sporting cars on the city streets of Hyderabad, and the videos and pictures of the stars wishing for India's first Formula One Grand Prix are making waves on social media. The event was also a venue where Malayalam's own pan-Indian superstars Dulquer Salmaan and Sachin Tendulkar came together as chief guests. The single-seater electrically powered Formula E race was held in India for the first time as part of the 2022-2023 Formula E World Championship.
Hyderabad witnessed a star-studded Formula One race as movie stars and sports stars of India came to greet Formula One in the venue packed with thousands of racing fans. The first E-Prix held in India was also the venue where South Indian superstars like Chiranjeevi, Yash, Ram Charan, and many others arrived. French race car driver Jean-Éric Vergne finished first, with New Zealand motorsports racing driver Nick Cassidy and Portuguese motorsports racing driver António Félix da Costa taking second and third.
