Suvid Wilson, director of the world record-breaking short film 'Kutty Daivam', was felicitated with the Padmarajan Award at a function organized by the State Alcohol Abstinence Committee. Assistant Excise Commissioner Y Shibu presented the certificate. Poet and lyricist Karyavattom Sreekandan Nair was honored with a Ponnadai.

The award ceremony was held at the Thycaud Shanti Bhavan, the seventh state conference venue of the committee. Mollywood film star Prem Kumar was the chief guest at the function which was presided over by Samiti state president M Raseef. Poet Kunnathur Jayaprakash, Robert Sam, and Anil Guruvayurappan offered their best wishes.

State Secretary Russell Sabarmati welcomed the gathering and District Secretary Shaji thanked them.
