Major is an Indian movie directed by acclaimed Telugu director Sashi Kiran Tikka. Features Adivi Sesh, Saiee M Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma. The movie Major is produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and A+S Movies and Rajiv Bharadwaj is the executive producer.

The movie Major is based on the true story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The movie focuses on the way he lived rather than how he died, aims to demonstrate how this brave man saved the lives of numerous hostages before being martyred by terrorists who wreaked havoc at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, India on November 26, 2008.

Major movie was released on June 3^rd of 2022 in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages. And the digital streaming of the movie Major is on Netflix from 3^rd June 2022.
