L2 Empuraan is a Malayalam political drama movie directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the sequel to the blockbuster Lucifer. The executive producers of the movie are Suresh Balaje and George Pius. The chief associate director of L2E is Vava, and the creative director is Nirmal Sahadev. The project Empuraan is designed by Prithviraj Productions. Suresh Balaje and George Pius are the executive producers, and GKM Tamil Kumaran is the Head of Lyca Productions.

Empuraan, by Mohanlal and Prthviraj Sukumaran, has released its first song. The song Phir Zinda's lyric video is available from 25 March 2025. The movie L2 Empuraan started on 5 October 2023 in Faridabad on the Delhi- Haryana border. For the pooja, Mohanlal had arrived in Delhi on the fourth. The first schedule is not being followed by Mohanlal. Mohanlal returned from Delhi to Kochi and finished dubbing for Barroz. Afterward began work on the Telugu movie Vrushabha in Mysore. Vrushabha will be wrapped by this schedule and, thereafter begin acting in Empuraan.

The movie Empuraan is being filmed on several schedules and in various locations. Twenty international nations were used to film the movie. It has significant locations in the UAE, the US, and Russia. Upon recovering from a leg injury sustained while filming Vilayath Budha, Prithviraj has resumed his professional activities. The 2nd installment of the Lucifer franchise, Empuraan, will be released in theaters on March 27, 2025. Synopsis
