Byri is a movie written and directed by John Glady. The film features Syed Majeed, Meghana Ellen, and Viji Sekar as the lead characters. The movie also stars John Glady, Saranya Ravichandran, Ramesh Arumugam, Vinu Lawrence, Anand, Karthick Prasanna, Francis Kiruba, and Rajan. The movie Byri is produced by V Durai Raj under the banner of DK Productions.

Arun Raj's song "Falcon In The Sky" from 'Byri Part 1' is released on 21 February 2024. The song has an amazing soundtrack and visual elements, and it is in rap mode. The song is made more entertaining by the combination of Tamil and English lyrics.

The film, which is based in southern Tamil Nadu, shows how young people take part in the pigeon race that has been going on for centuries and the challenges they have while getting the birds ready for the competition. Real-life pigeon racers play the lead roles in the film. Apart from them, John Glady, Ramesh Arumukham, Vinu, Sharanya Ravichandran, Karthik Prasanna, Dinesh, and others are also playing important roles.

As director John Glady put it

"Byri" translates to "hawk". The name was picked since it seemed appropriate for the narrative. Race pigeon breeders view Bairi as their biggest threat. Three pigeons out of a total of thirty are entered in the race; the other pigeons are killed by Bairi. It resembles human life quite a bit. There aren't many who can top that. This concept serves as the basis for the movie's plot. The relationship between a mother and her child is a significant theme of the movie, in addition to pigeon racing. I thoroughly researched the topic before making the movie.

The music for the film 'Byri' is composed by 'Thadam' fame Arun Raj with the lyrics by Karthik Netha, Mohan Rajan, and Pon Manoban.
