Vijay Babu plays James, while Lali PM plays Amma. Lali, who made her film debut with Kumbalangi Nights, has since acted in around twenty films, including Mohan Kumar Fans, 2018, Mango Mury, and Koodal. Apart from these, Nirmal Palazhi, Sohan Seenulal, Dayana Hameed, Akhila Nath, Bindu Vadakara, Seena Catherine, Prasanna, and Ansil, along with a few newcomers, are also playing roles in Mother Mary.
Lali PM portrays Amma, while Vijay Babu plays James. Since making her cinematic debut in Kumbalangi Nights, Lali has acted in almost 20 films, such as Koodal, Mango Mury, and Mohan Kumar Fans.

Filming has started on Mother Mary, a family film that is touching and depicts the emotional moments of an old mother's love for her elder son against the backdrop of the Malabar High Range. Attik Rahman Vatikal makes his directorial and writing debut with the movie. On 28 February 2024, at Pinangode Kavumandham, close to Kalpetta, filming got underway with a modest ceremony that was seen by family members and cast members. Father Mathew Mukkattukavungal performed the switch-on ritual in front of VG Shibu, the president of Thariode Grama Panchayat. The script was given to filmmaker Rahman by Noushad Alathur and director Sarathchandran Wayanad. The shooting of the film will be completed in Wayanad and Kochi.

The music for the film 'Mother Mary' is composed by Santhosh Kumar with the songs penned by Babu Vavad and KJ Manoj.

Synopsis
Mary Ammachy and her family are at the center of the narrative. She has a daughter named Jessy and a son named James. Jessy's husband is Joseph, while James's wife is Susan. Jerry is the name of James's kid. Raina, Reema, and Sumi are Jessy's three female offspring. Aron, Sumi's spouse, works in Dubai.
