Mother Mary is a Malayalam movie directed by debutant Attik Rahman Watikal. The film features Vijay Babu and Lali PM as the lead characters along with Ansil, Navas Vallikkunnu, and Anoop Menon. Filming has started on Mother Mary, a family film that is touching and depicts the emotional moments of an old mother's love for her elder son against the backdrop of the Malabar High Range. Attik Rahman Vatikal makes his directorial and writing debut with the movie. On 28 February 2024 at Pinangode Kavumandham, close to Kalpetta, filming got underway with a modest ceremony that was seen by family members and cast members. Father Mathew Mukkattukavungal performed the switch-on ritual in front of VG Shibu, the president of Thariode Grama Panchayat. The script was given to filmmaker Rahman by Noushad Alathur and director Sarathchandran Wayanad. The shooting of the film will be completed in Wayanad and Kochi.

In the opening sequence, well-known actress Lali PM performed. After gaining popularity with Kumbalangi Nights, Lali went on to appear in roughly 20 other movies, including Mohan Kumar Fans, 2018, Mango Mury, and others.

The music for the film 'Mother Mary' is composed by Santhosh Kumar with the songs penned by Babuvappad and KJ Manoj.
