Kummatikali is a Malayalam movie directed by RK Vincent Selva. The film features Superstar Suresh Gopi's son Madhav Suresh in Kummatikali alongside Devika Satheesh and Yami Sona as the heroines. Lena, Rashik Ajmal, Mithun Prakash, and Dhananjay Premjith are also in the lead. The movie Kummatikali is produced by RB Choudary under the banner of the famous film production company Super Good Films. The cast also includes Mime Gopi, Azeez Nedumangad, Dinesh Alleppey, Sohanlal, Sinoj Varghese (Sinoj Angamaly), Alvin Anthony Jr., Aneesh Gopal, Anu Prabha, Architha Anish, and others. The screenplay for the film is written by the director himself, with the dialogue by Ramesh Ammanath.

The film Kummatikali is Super Good Films' 98^th production. Thankamani, starring Dileep from Super Good Films, was the previous release in theaters.

According to director RK Vincent Selva, Bharathan's 'Amaram' is the inspiration for 'Kummatikali'. In the same locations as Amaram, "Kummatikali" is also being shot. The film is set against the backdrop of Kadappuram and the characters' lives there.

Kummatikali shooting was held on 27 March at Alappuzha Santwanam Special School. Kummatikali is the 98^th production venture of Super Good Films. Producer RB Choudary and the film's stars and crew participated in the pooja ceremony.

The official music video for "Kummatikali" has been made available from 27 July 2024, with lyrics penned by Santhosh Varma opening with "Kadal Pole". The song was released with music composed by Sumesh Parameswaran and sung by famous music director cum singer Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Synopsis

The narrative opens with four young boys and a young girl living on the streets and having a good time. The kids went inside Indiramma's house to get some food on the day of the Kummattikali Festival.

Indiramma later adopted them and became their guardian. The four boys grew into teenagers and led contented lives as the years went by.
