Asim Kottoor is the chief associate director of Koodal. Shajeer Pappa is doing the cinematography. Santosh Kaimal is the project designer. Mohan C Neelamangalam is the associate director, and the assistant directors are Yasir Parathakkad, Anaika Shivaraj, PT Babu, and Sathyan Cherpulassery.
The celebration of today's youth and the activities that occur among them serve as the basis for the movie. The action and eight thrilling songs are the film's shining points. Manikandan Perumpadappu, who rose to fame with his widely shared song "Oru Kaattu Moolanu..." from the film Chekkan, performs both singing and acting. Hero Bibin George has also performed a lovely song.
The first poster for the Malayalam movie Koodal, which takes place during a camping trip, was unveiled on 25 December 2024. Numerous social media and movie stars shared the poster, including well-known actors Manju Warrier, Jayasurya, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and filmmaker Nadirsha.
Bibin George's Koodal has started shooting. The locations of the film Shaanu Kakkoor - Shafi Eppikkad are Palakkad and Coimbatore. It is set against a backdrop of camping, a first for Malayalam.
The title launch and pooja ceremony of P&J Productions production No.1 'Koodal' was held at Kaloor Hotel Gokulam Park on Chingam 1, 17 August 2024.
The greatest highlight of the movie, which honors today's youngsters and the interactions that occur between them, is five wonderful songs. Hero Bibin George and Manikandan Perumpadappu, who rose to fame with their viral song "Oru Kaattu moolanu...", are singing songs in Koodal. The music for the film 'Koodal' was composed by Sibu Sukumaran, Nikhil Anil Kumar, Sumesh Raveendran, Albin S Joseph, and Prasad Unnikuttan Chembrasseri. The lyrics are penned by Shibu Pularkazhcha, M Krisnankutty, Sony Mohan, Nikhil Anil Kumar, Sumesh, Shafi, Shanu, Shajeena Abdul Nasar, and Abi Abbas. Najim Arshad, Yazin Nizar, Manikandan Perumpadappu, Sajeer Koppam, Afsal Eppikkad, Fahad, Indulekha Warrier, Shilpa Abhilash, Meera, Zahra Maryam, and Anu Thomas are the singers. Vijay Master is the dance choreographer.
The first Malayalam movie with a camping theme, Koodal, was released in theaters on June 27, 2025. Koodal distribution in cinemas by P&J Productions Private Limited through Valluvanadan Cinema Company. Mannarkkad, Attappadi, Coimbatore, and Malayattoor are the major locations of Koodal. The Malayalam film Koodal is streaming on ManoramaMAX from 31 August 2025.

Synopsis
