At the Ariesplex Theater in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Public Education and Employment Minister V. Sivankutty and then-famous filmmaker Shyamaprasad performed the release event. Ayina, the granddaughter of CV Premkumar, received the first copy of the book.

The scriptbook was screened concurrently with its publication. Prominent poet Girish Puliyoor, Aalroopangal heroine and actress Maya Viswanath, and film producer A.M. Naushad all sent their well wishes. Kadhikan Vanchiyoor Praveen Kumar, a well-known actor, TV personality, and theater artist, welcomed them. Samam Arts Treasurer Mini Satheesh gave a vote of thanks, while Samam Arts President and Film PRO Ajay Thundathil presided over the event.
