Synopsis

A man named Chathan, who used to work for the upper-class Hindus during the 1921 riots, narrates the film as a flashback tale. His wife, Savitri, who used to be the daughter of his landlord, now resides with him. The Malabar Revolt of 1921 is depicted in the film as he experienced it.
