Neeraja is a Malayalam movie written and directed by Rajesh K Raman. Features Guru Somasundaram, Jinu Joseph, Govind Padmasoorya, Shruti Ramachandran, and Srindaa in Neeraja movie as the lead characters. Hridayam fame Kalesh Ramanand, Raghunath Paleri, Abhija Sivakala, Kottayam Ramesh, Shruthi Rajanikanth, and Sajin Cherukayil are the other prominent actors in the cast. The movie Neeraja is produced by Smt. Uma and M Ramesh Reddy under the banner of Suraj Production. This is the seventh and first Malayalam movie by renowned Kannada filmmaker Ramesh Reddy. Nidheesh Iritty and Rahul Krishna are the associate directors of the movie Neeraja and the assistant directors are Yadokrishna, Dayakumar, and Kavya Thampi.

The pooja and switch-on ceremony of the movie is held at Edappally Anchumana Devi Temple, Ernakulam on 3^rd May 2022. Famous director Sibi Malayil performed the switch-on and director Manu Ashokan gave the first clap. The filming of the movie will start on 6^th May in Ernakulam and pack up on 3^rd June 2022. The 7^th Production from Suraj Production is titled "Neeraja" and the title is launched by Jayasurya, Darshana Rajendran, Roshan Mathew, Nikhila Vimal, and Aishwarya Lekshmi through social media with more than 10000 College Students on 1^st September 2022.

The music for the movie is composed by Sachin Shankor Mannath with the lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar.

Neeraja movie released in theaters by 72 Film Company Release on June 2^nd of 2023. The Malayalam film Neeraja is digital premiered on HR OTT from 28^th August 2023. The streaming of the Malayalam movie Neeraja is coming soon on Manorama Max.

Synopsis

Neeraja works for an IT company and was married to Alex, who passed away in an accident two years ago. Neeraja was still emotionally linked to Alex after two years because of their intense love affair, and she even preserved their living room in the same condition that Alex would have kept it. She begins to feel morally torn between the mental block that prevents her from moving on and her physical desires. The film depicts Neeraja going through this emotionally trying time.
